We started by going right back to the beginning. With full access to the Budvar design archives we painstakingly went through the process of collating and reviewing visual assets, researching their recall and meaning to consumers around the world.
From this period of discovery was born the design you see today. A truly authentic design that draws from the rich history of the brand, uniting key moments of visual distinction to powerful effect.
We knew we’d created something strong. But as sales grew, and the lifetime of the limited edition extended from six months to a year to two years, replacing the original design in all major off-trade retail, we knew we’d done much more than faithfully retrace history (phew, long sentence).
